Essex-Middle River Crime: Flags Stolen From Building

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Hilltop Avenue, 1800 block. Between noon, Feb. 6 and 11 a.m., Feb. 9. Someone pried a sliding door on a boat and damaged a lock in an attempt to gain entry. Nothing was taken.

Old Eastern Avenue, 1900 block. Between 5 p.m., Feb. 3 and 3:29 p.m., Feb. 10. At Buedels Marina, someone took three 50-foot rolls of copper, three brass boat props and 11 extension cords from a garage.

Judywood Lane, unit block. Between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Feb. 9. Someone attempted to pry open a side door, but did not gain entry.

Martin Boulevard, 1500 block. Betwen 10:10 and 10:15 p.m., Feb. 7. At Cogar Painting and Graphics, someone attempted to pry open a back door.

Bowleys Quarters Road, 400 block. Between 12:10 and 3:20 a.m., Feb. 8. Someone used a rock to smash the front door then took two empty cash registers.

Earls Road, 100 block. Between 10 p.m., Feb. 7 and 12:45 a.m., Feb. 8. Someone entered a lot owned by Benjer Inc. and cut a lock on a contractor's container, then took a pile of copper next to it.

Martin Boulevard, 1500 block. Between 5 p.m., Feb. 7 and 9 a.m., Feb. 8. Someone broke a lock hasp on a shed and took nothing from the shed, but removed an American flag and Maryland flag from a flagpole.

Judywood Lane, 100 block. Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Feb. 7. Someone forced open a door and went through property in a home, but nothing was taken.

Foxridge Lane, 1000 block. Between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Feb. 7. Someone entered through a home's back door and stole a jacket, teal boots, Nike shoes, a laptop and a 32-inch television. A front window was damaged. It is unknown if the door was locked, according to a police report.

Pulaski Highway, 11300 block. Between 6 p.m., Feb. 6 and 8 a.m., Feb. 7. Someone cut a fence and took 100 feet of ground cable, two clamps and two ferrules from two Baltimore Gas and Electric trucks.

Snowberry Court, 700 block. Between 9:20 a.m. and 10:35 p.m., Feb. 6. A resident returned home to find the front door unlocked, lights on, rooms ransacked and a bedroom window open. Discovered missing were $2,000 in jewelry, an Xbox 360 console, $250 in Xbox 360 games, two Xbox 360 controllers and $150 in DVDs.

Briar Hill Place, 800 block. Between 5 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., Feb. 6. Someone removed a rear window screen and shattered the glass in an attempt to gain entry.

Pulaski Highway, 11200 block. Between 4:30 p.m., Feb. 5 and 5:15 a.m., Feb. 6. Someone cut a hole in a fence and took a plastic tub and five extension coard. The tub was later recovered outside the fence.

Sue Creek Drive, 1900 block. 5:35 p.m., Feb. 4. Someone jumped a fence and entered a screened porch, then fled when neighbors came to investigate.
