Essex-Middle River Crime: Boy Injured In Robbery

Clover Avenue, unit block. Between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., Jan. 13. Someone kicked open a front door and moved around property in a home. Nothing was taken.

Graythorn Road, 2100 block. Between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., Jan. 11. Someone broke glass to enter a home via a basement door and took two pairs of headphones, an Xbox headset, an Xbox game and two $2 bills.

Charlene Lane, unit block. 11 p.m., Jan. 10. Someone broke a front door, went through dresser drawers and took $4,180 in cash and $1,150 worth of jewelry.

Eastern Boulevard, 700 block. 8:57 p.m., Jan. 11. At a Crown gas station, a man displayed a knife and demanded money. He took $3,250 and fled on foot.

Riverwood Road, 1600 block. 10 p.m., Jan. 10. Two males approached a boy and, in an altercation, stabbed him in the chest and leg and took two cell phones. The attackers fled in an unknown direction. The boy was taken to Shock Trauma.

Snowberry Court, 700 block. 7:54 p.m., Jan. 10. A man broke into a home via a rear window. The resident came home and saw the man in the living room. The man jumped out through a back window and fled.

Carroll Island Road, 100 block. 11:03 a.m., Jan. 10. At By the Scoop, a man entered, implied he had a gun and demanded money. He took $210 and fled on foot.

Keithley Road, 5700 block. Between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Jan. 10. Someone forced entry through a rear door. It's unknown if anything was stolen.

Olivia Road, 7100 block. Between 11 p.m., Jan. 9 and 5:30 a.m., Jan. 10. Someone flattened three tires on a car and painted what a police report called "phallic symbols" and racial statements in black spray paint. A Garmin GPS and $5 were stolen from inside the car.

Akin Circle, unit block. 11:34 p.m., Jan. 9. An Xbox 360, two wireless controllers and an Xbox 360 game were stolen. Two men knocked on the door. The victims opened the door and the men forced their way in, where they stole the property. One of the victims told police he believes the incident is related to his sale of a defective Xbox 360 console.

Compass Road, unit block. 3:5 p.m., Jan. 9. A man used an unknown tool to try to pry open a shed. The man did not gain entry, and assaulted one of the victims who confronted him, then fled on foot.

South Marlyn Avenue, 1000 block. Between 8 a.m. and 12:30 a.m., Jan. 9. Someone broke a rear window and stole an Xbox, six games and an Acer laptop.

Yawmeter Drive, 100 block. Between 7 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Someone destroyed a basement door frame, emptied a laundry basket and took $40 from a pants pocket.

Bird River Road, 10200 block. 10:23 p.m., Jan. 6. Two people agreed to meet someone to loan $20. They were approached by two men wearing ski masks and gloves. One put a silver handgun to a victim's temple. The victim grabbed the handgun and drove away.

Dorell Road, 200 block. Between 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m., Jan. 7. A digital camera and safe containing medication and personal papers was stolen. Police say someone entered via a basement dog door.
