Essex-Middle River Crime: Air Conditioning Units Stolen

Martin Boulevard, 900 block. Between 1:30 p.m., Oct. 19 and 9:55 a.m., Oct. 21. At the Church of Christ, an intruder cut a lock to a fenced area, turned off power to four air conditioning units, cut wires to two units, then took the two units, each valued at $5,000.

Bird River Road, 9700 block. 1 a.m., Oct. 22. A man approached two victims in their car, displayed a black revolver and demanded money. He took a cell phone, $30 cash, keys, a wallet and two packs of cigarettes. The keys were later recovered.
Stemmers Run Road and Old Eastern Avenue. Between 12:45 a.m. and 1:15 a.m., Oct. 20. At a bus stop, a man was approached by two men, who knocked him to the ground and took property from his pants pockets. The men stole a green Sprint cell phone, a black leather wallet, a pack of cigarettes, keys and $3.68 in cash.

Eastern Boulevard, 700 block. 2:38 a.m., Oct. 19. At the Crown station, an intruder used a rock to smash glass and, once inside, stole four packs of Newport cigarettes.
Foxridge Lane, 900 block. Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., Oct. 18. An Xbox console, various games, a black bag and two bottles of Absolut were taken from a home. A rear window had been left open.
