Essex Area Crime: Copper, Cash, Pocket Knives Stolen
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
May 4: Fourth-degree burglary, 3000 block of Eastern Boulevard
At 11:19 p.m., a security officer at M.A.S. Roll Off saw a man inside the fenced business lot. The suspect fled when the guard confronted him. The suspect is a white man, 5-foot-9, with a medium build.
May 4: First-degree assault, 1400 block of Kent Road

At 7:43 p.m., the victim and the suspect began to fight. During the fight, the suspect used a beer bottle to cut the victim. Terry Turner, 26, of the 2000 block of Paulette Road in Dundalk, was arrested and charged with assault.
May 1: First-degree assault - gun, 1100 block of Tace Drive

At 4:10 p.m., the victims were sitting on the front steps of the apartment building when the suspect came home. He told them to leave, then entered the building. He returned a short time later and pointed a shotgun at the victims, who fled. Steven Link, 29, of the same address, was arrested and charged with assault.
April 29: First-degree burglary, 6700 block of University Drive
At 11:30 a.m., two suspects entered the victim's home, and then fled when they saw that he was home. One 17-year-old juvenile was charged with burglary.
April 29: First-degree burglary, Unit block of Sprout Court
Between 9 a.m. and 2:45 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the home through a sliding glass door and took an Xbox game system.
April 29: Armed robbery - gun, 1000 block of Foxcroft Lane
At 6:40 a.m., three suspects approached the victim and displayed a gun and a knife. They demanded the victim's money, and took money and jewelry from him. The victim was transported to Franklin Square Hospital for treatment of injuries not thought to be life-threatening. One suspect is a black male, 18 to 20 years old, and 6 feet tall. The second suspect is a black male, 18 to 20 years old, 5-foot-3, with a large build. A detailed description is not available for the third suspect.
April 27: Second-degree burglary, 300 block of Earls Road
Between 12:40 and 2:15 a.m., two suspects cut a hole in a fence surrounding storage sheds at Chesapeake Containment. Copper wire was stolen. The first suspect is a white male, 40 to 45 years old, 5-foot-9 and 230 pounds. The second suspect is a white male, 20 to 30 years old, 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds.
April 24: Armed robbery - gun, 900 block of Middle River Road
At 10:30 p.m., the suspect entered the Quick Mart and displayed a gun. The suspect took money from both registers. The suspect is a white male, 5-10 and 180 pounds, with a fair complexion.
April 24 to April 26: Second-degree burglary, 300 block of Earls Road
Between 6 p.m. on April 24 and 2:50 p.m. on April 26, an unknown suspect pried open a trailer belonging to Comer Company and Son. Money and keys were taken.
April 24 to April 29: First-degree burglary, 7300 block of Gunpowder Road
Between 9 a.m. on April 24 and 7 p.m. on April 29, an unknown suspect pried open the rear door and took a pocket knife collection.
