Essex Man Pleads Guilty To Producing Child Pornography

Robert Marzola could be sentenced to up to 30 years in federal prison.

An Essex man pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Baltimore Thursday to producing child pornography.

Robert Marzola, 31, was arrested last year after Baltimore County Police executed a search warrant and discovered files containing child pornography on his computer, a laptop and a memory card, according to a statement issued by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein

The search warrant was served after a boy reported that Marzola had sexually abused him between December 2011 and July 2012. Marzola photographed or took videos of the incidents, according to the statement.
