Essex Man Arrested in Incense Theft

Police say Brandyn Harris stole more than $1,000 in incense from an adult store

An Essex man was arrested this week for allegedly breaking into a Middle River adult store and stealing dozens of packs of incense.

Brandyn Wayne Harris, 23, of the 1300 block of Dorsey Avenue, is charged with second-degree burglary, theft, concealment of a dangerous weapon and malicious destruction of property.

According to police, at around 4 a.m. Tuesday, Harris broke the front door window at Love One's in the 3200 block of Eastern Boulevard. According to the police incident summary, Harris then went through cabinets and drawers and took 162 packs of Zencence-branded incense, valued at $3,688.90.

Harris was arrested about a half-mile away from the store with the stolen incense in a shopping bag.

He remains held on $50,000 bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson, according to online court records.
