Essex Crime: Video Games, Jewelry Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

The following were recent crimes reported to the Essex Precinct:

Welbrook Road, 500 block, between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Jan. 23. An Xbox 360 and 60 video games were stolen after someone entered the home through a kitchen window. Total loss: $400.

Evergreen Way, 1600 block, between 3:30 p.m. Jan. 20 and 9 a.m. Jan. 23. A window was broken by someone trying to enter a home under construction. Nothing was stolen. Total loss: $750.

Sugarwood Circle, 1300 block, between noon and 9:40 p.m. Jan. 21.Someone stole $60 from jewelry box case after entering the apartment through a rear sliding door.

Cedar Valley Place, unit block, between 12:10 and 2 p.m. Jan. 20. A 32-inch TV was stolen from an apartment after someone forced open the back door. Total loss: $450.

Queens Purchase Drive, 1100 block, 12:30 a.m., Jan. 18. A dryer was vandalized and $80 was stolen from a coin box of a washing machine in the laundry room of an apartment building. Total loss: $580.
