Essex Crime: Police Investigating Pair of Robberies

Baltimore County police are investigating two unrelated robberies that occurred Nov. 21 in Essex.

In the first case, two men were robbed at knifepoint as they walked along the around 7 p.m. in Essex, police said.

According to police reports, three men approached the victims, ages 16 and 26, from behind and put a knife to the younger one’s throat and demanded his wallet. The boy complied.

The suspects ran away with the wallet and an iPod toward Back River Neck Road, police said.

The second case occurred around 8 p.m. in the 1600 block of Williams Ave. In that case, two men approached a 19-year-old male, grabbed him by the neck, assaulted him and stole his cell phone, police said.
