Essex Crime: Jewelry, Video Games, Lawn Equipment Stolen

The Baltimore County Police Department supplied the information for the following incidents. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

Here are recent crimes reported to the Essex Precinct:

Harrison Ave., unit block, between midnight and 8 a.m. May 12: A lawnmower and weed wacker were reported stolen from a home after someone broke into a shed in the yard. Total loss: $500.

Lariat Road, 100 block, between 9 p.m. May 11 and 9 a.m. May 12: A leaf blower, weed eater and lawn mower were stolen after someone broke the latch to a locked shed. Total loss: $600.

Alberge Lane. 100 block, between 8 p.m. May 10 and 8 a.m. May 11: A TV, PlayStation 3, 30 Xbox Games, shirts, a necklace, bracelet, watch and cologne were reported stolen from a home after someone pried open a sliding glass door to enter the residence. Total loss: $2,375.

Maryland Avenue, 500 block, between 9:50 a.m. May 8 and 2 p.m. May 8: Assorted pieces of jewelry were reported stolen from a home, which showed no signs of forced entry. Total loss: $8,800.
