Essex Crime: Houses, Businesses Buglarized

Here are recent crimes reported to the Essex Precinct:
Barron Avenue, 900 block, between 9 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. April 23: A 32-inch TV, a laptop computer and about 100 DVDs were stolen after someone forced open the front door. Total loss: $4,100.
Stemmers Run Road, 700 block, between 12:30 and 12:44 a.m. April 22: Four auto dark welding masks and a pair of safety goggles were stolen from Roberts Oxygen. Total loss $1,132.82

Marice Circle, unit block, between 10:30 a.m. and 1:40 p.m. April 21: An Xbox, PlayStation 3, video game controllers, video games, a 32-inch TV, jeans and sneakers were stolen from a home after someone entered the home through a rear kitchen window. Total loss: $1,870.
Ashbridge Drive, 900 block, between 7 p.m. April 20 and 11:15 a.m. April 21: An Xbox video game console, iPod Touch and three Xbox games were stolen from an apartment. Total loss: $450.

Goeller Avenue, unit bloc, between 4 p.m. April 15 and noon April 21: Two lawn mowers, a mountain bike and a blower vacuum were stolen after someone pried a shed door’s latch open. Total loss: $360.
Turkey Point Road, 2200 block, between 11:20 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. April 20: A 32-inch TV was stolen from a home after someone forced open the front door to gain entry into the residence. Total loss: $550.
Hadwick Driver, 1400 block, between 12:30 and 8 p.m. April 19: A laptop computer and computer case were stolen from an apartment after someone pried open a door to enter the residence. Total loss: $770.
Manifold Court, unit block, between noon and 12:10 p.m. April 19: Copper pipes, metal wiring, various tools, fishing rods, aluminum wire frames and scrap metal were stolen from the back yard of a home. Witnesses told police the items were loaded into a white Chevy pick-up truck and drove northbound on Manifold Court toward Compass Road.
Avenal Road, unit block, between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. April 18: A 27-inch flat screen TV, a PlayStation 3 and $1,800 were reported stolen from a home after someone entered the residence through an unlocked side window. Total loss: $2,350.
