Essex Crime: Copper, Jewlelry, TVs Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

Here are recent crimes reported to the Essex Precinct:

Water Watch Court, 400 block, between 10 p.m. May 27 and 9 a.m. May 28: An air conditioning unit was cut and removed from an outside wall. Total loss: $1,500

Decatur Roar, 9800 block, between 10:30 p.m. May 26 and 2:30 p.m. May 28: A laptop computer, TV and Xbox was stolen from a home after someone pried open a rear window to enter the home. Total loss: $1,586.

Eastern Avenue, 11500 block, between 5:30 p.m. May 27 and 9 a.m. May 28: Two weed whackers and a lawn mower were stolen from a shed. Total loss: $410.

Glenwood Road, unit block, between 3 p.m. and 6:12 p.m. May 28: A diamond watch, two gold necklaces, two pairs of diamond earrings and a child’s gold necklace were stolen from a safe in a bedroom of an apartment. Total loss: $9,000.

Bowleys Quarters Road, unit block, between 5:30 p.m. May 23 and 6 p.m. May 27: Copper piping and air conditioning components were stolen after someone pried open an basement door. Total loss: $1,500.
