Essex Crime: Car Stolen in Front of Home

Here are recent crimes reported to the Essex police precinct:
Greenbriar Way, unit block, Dec. 5, 7:30 a.m.: A 2004 Toyota Solara was reported stolen from a driveway. The victim, a 34-year-old woman, told police she left her car running for only a minute while she went back inside her home to get something.
Timber Creek Court, unit block, Dec. 2-4: A coin box was pried open and the money was reported stolen from a coin-operated dryer at an apartment building.

Redthorn Road, 2100 block, Dec. 2, between 8:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.: Someone stole $2,000 from a home after the suspect pried open a rear door, police said.
Crossroads Circle, 11600 block, Dec. 2: Copper wiring was reported stolen from a trailer at a Royal Farms construction site along Route 43. Total loss: $4,000.

Eddystone Place, unit block, Nov. 30-Dec. 2: Gas dryers were damaged and $35 in coins were reported stolen from the change box of the appliance located inside an apartment complex. Total loss: $275.
, 900 block, Dec. 2, 8:40 p.m.: A male suspect walked up to the home and stole two Christmas decorations from the front yard. A 28-year-old female resident witnessed the theft and questioned him about it. The man then entered a vehicle with two others and drove away, police said. Total loss: $2.
Canberra Drive, 1300 block, Dec. 2, 11:15 a.m.: An engagement ring was reported taken from a home. Someone had thrown a landscaping rock at a window in order to enter, police said. Total loss: $5,000.
, 100 block, Dec. 1, 11 a.m.: Various credit cards and $2,000 were reported stolen from a home after someone pried open a rear window, police said. Total loss: $2,525.
Reames Road and Pulaski Highway, Dec. 1: A skid loader was reported stolen and was believed to be loaded onto a trailer, police said. Total loss: $45,000.
Frenchs Ave., 1600 block, Nov. 26-Dec. 1: Collectible coins and stamps, along with pocket watches and a 21-inch gold chain with a t-shaped locket were reported stolen from a home, police said. Total loss: $692.50.
