Essex Community Outreach Officer Found Dead in Her Home
No foul play is suspected in death of Officer First Class Shannon Gentry.
A community outreach officer from the Essex precinct was found dead in her home early Wednesday, a Baltimore County police spokesman confirmed.
Detective Cathy Batton said Officer Shannon Gentry passed away suddenly Wednesday. She was an 11-year veteran, most recently assigned to the Essex Precinct Community Outreach Unit.
No foul play is suspected, said Batton, who said additional details will be released by Friday.
