Teen Reports Attempted Kidnapping

April 28: A 15-year-old Kenwood High School student reported to police that two men attempted to kidnap her as she was walking at around 10:20 p.m. along Riverthorn and Midthorn roads. The girl told police that she was walking on the sidewalk when a black van stopped and two men exited the van and chased after and grabbed her. The victim said she ran to a nearby friend’s house before calling police.

Cars Vandalized in Bowleys Quarters

April 28: An unknown suspect spray-painted a man's two vehicles, located on the 400 block of Bowleys Quarters Road. The suspect also slashed two tires on each car.

Home Burglarized

April 28: An unknown suspect pushed in the front window of a home on the unit block of Marice Circle and unlocked the front door before stealing two laptop computers, a PS3 game console and a travel bag. Total loss: $1,395.

Copper Taken From A/C Unit

April 27: An unknown suspect removed copper tubing from an air conditioning unit located in the rear of a vacant rental home on the 100 block of Alock Road.

Man Charged with Home Burglary

April 27: Police arrested a 19-year-old man and charged him with first-degree burglary of a home on the 900 block of Martin Boulevard. Christopher Stuart allegedly forced open the back door of the home and stole a cell phone, camcorder and jewelry. Police subsequently arrested him after the victim identified the suspect as a friend of her son’s and identified the stolen items as belonging to her.

Drugs Stolen from Pharmaceutical Saleswoman

April 27:  A 37-year-old pharmaceutical saleswoman told police that someone stole 96 bottles of the prescription drug Enablex from the trunk of her car, which was parked on the 1600 block of Sailaway Circle. Total loss: $500.

Costco Burglarized

April 27: An unknown suspect removed a skylight from the roof of Costco, located on the 9900 block of Pulaski Highway.
