Boyfriend Arrested in Murder of Middle River Woman

Police say victim was stabbed multiple times following argument on Monday.

Baltimore County police arrested a 60-year-old man on charges that he murdered his girlfriend in her Middle River home on Monday.

Sam Davis was located in Baltimore City and arrested for allegedly killing Jacqueline Paul, 35, of the 300 block of Grovethorn Road. County police spokesman Det. Cathy Batton said Davis shared the residence with Paul.

According to a news release, detectives said Davis stabbed Paul multiple times following an argument around 11 a.m. on Monday in her home. He then left the location before police found him in the city.

Police were called to Paul's home at approximately 11:18 a.m for a cardiac arrest call. When investigators arrived, Paul was pronounced dead at the scene. Her death was and later deemed a homicide.

Davis was charged with first degree murder and is currently being held at the in Towson without bail.
