Body of Missing Middle River Man Found in Reservoir

Charles "Chuck" Duckett, 35, disappeared on Dec. 2 while he participated in a managed deer hunt for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission.

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission confirmed late Thursday that the body found in the Triadelphia Reservoir was that of a Middle River man

Charles “Chuck” Duckett, 35, was a WSSC employee for 12 years and was working as part of a managed deer hunt at the Montgomery County reservoir when he went missing.

Fire and police departments from across Maryland assisted in the search effort for Duckett, a married father of three. Friends and family members as they held out hope he would be found alive.

“I have always said that our employees are our most important asset. Ours is a team dedicated to providing the best possible service to our customers. And by all accounts, Chuck Duckett exemplified that standard.  His wife and children should be proud.”
