Baltimore County Police to Hold Promotion Ceremony
Two members will be reassigned to Essex Precinct 11 following their promotions.
The Baltimore County Police Department will hold a promotion ceremony at 10 a.m. June 5, at the Dundalk campus of The Community College of Baltimore County.
Police Chief James Johnson is scheduled to present certificates to the department members being promoted, according to a statement. The oath of office will be administered by Clerk of the Circuit Court Julie Ensor, and the invocation and benediction will be offered by the Rev. Paul Palazzi, police chaplain.
Brandon A. Branham (promoted from corporal to sergeant) and Christopher S. Bishop (promoted from officer to corporal) will be reassigned to Essex Police Precinct 11 following their promotions.

Michael T. Mertz will be assigned to White Marsh Police Precinct 9 following his promotion from officer to corporal.
