2 Officers Promoted at Essex Police Precinct

Two officers were promoted at the Baltimore County police precinct that covers the Essex and Middle River area.

Baltimore County Police Department's Essex precinct gained two experienced police officers on Saturday when one officer was promoted to lieutanant and another to sergeant.

Lt. Rochelle Santoro was promoted from sergeant and Sgt. Michelle Gonzalez was promoted from corporal.

Police Chief James Johnson and County Executive Kevin Kamenetz attended the ceremony Friday at Stevenson University, which saw 24 officers promoted across the department. Circuit Court Clerk Julie Ensor administered the oath of office and Cantor Mel Luterman presided over the invocation and benediction.
