1st Mariner Bank Robbed in Middle River

Two men held up the bank adjacent to Carroll Island Shopping Center around 3 p.m. Monday, police said.

Two men robbed a Middle River bank at gunpoint this afternoon, Baltimore County police said.

A Baltimore County police spokeswoman said two men entered the 1st Mariner Bank, located at 176 Carroll Island Rd., around 3 p.m. At least one of the suspects had a gun as they ordered the bank employees to another room before escaping with an unknown amount of money.

Officers are searching the area for the suspects, who were described as two males wearing ski masks. One of them also had a jacket with "security" written on it, police said.

No one was injured in the robbery, police said.
