POLL: How Disappointing Was the Ravens Loss?

After the Ravens loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday, Patch wants to know how this season ranks in the fans' opinion.

The Ravens came within a field goal of advancing to the Super Bowl before losing 23-20 to the New England Patriots on Sunday in the AFC Championship Game.

While the loss obviously left a lot of fans feeling upset, how would you rank the Ravens overall season?

The field goal would have tied the game. After that we'll never know.

The game sure was a "nail-biter" but I swear that the last pass thrown by Placco to our tight end was a TOUCHDOWN. What was upsetting was the Officals didn't take the few minutes to view the replay. The receiver has control of the ball and ran through the end zone!!!

I agree that that was a touchdown. I'm still amazed that they didn't review it either. Total ripoff. So Brady can leap the pile and poke the nose of the ball over the plain and TOUCHDOWN. But we catch the ball fully in the end zone for a good three seconds of control and that's not a touchdown? The commentators were talking about how the ball was swatted away. WHAT! So after Brady leaped the pile, had we knocked the ball out of his hand that wouldn't have been a touchdown? I'm amazed that the commentators didn't make a bigger deal out of it either.

Disappointed on the touchdown call, but beside myself at the missed field goal. I so believed that the score was about to be tied that I left the room for a beverage. My mom, who stayed glued to the game screamed, "OH NO!!" I ran back to the TV to see the shank-full replay! I still can not believe the Ravens will not play in the super bowl...
