Kenwood's Track Team comes in Top 10 at Pikesville Invite

Two School Records and a top ten finish for the Kenwood's girls track team.

The boys and girls track team competed at the Pikesville Track Classic that hosts one of the largest meets of the year.  This year there were more than 40 public and private schools that competed.  While the boys did not have any point scorers, there were plenty of personal records that were broken in which made the meet positive.  On the other hand, the girls team finished 9th overall with 19 points and beating such Baltimore County powerhouse teams like Dulaney.  Shaneara Terry and Alyn Sankar broke two new school records in pole vault and long jump.  Currently, Terry is ranked as the number 1 pole vaulter in Baltimore County and 4th in the state.

The point scorers for the girls team were as follows:

4x100 relay 5th place 52.88 (Alyn Sankar, Brianna Best, Diamond Hunter, Shaneara Terry)
