Kenwood Track Team Hosts 3rd Annual Patrick Invite

The Third Annual Patrick Invite brought in 6 new Kenwood Track Hall of Famers along with plenty of medals to show off in school next week.  With the Hall of Fame ceremony,Dave Patrick, Len Patrick, Loreen Nebo, Rayven Ray, Tavon Lucas, and Travis Jenkins were all inducted as the first class of the Track Hall of Fame.

With the meet, the boys team placed 2nd overall behind North Harford while the girls won the entire meet in which the Lady Bluebirds needed to win the last two events of the day to take home the prize.  The 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams of Shaneara Terry, Brianna Best, Diamond Hunter, and Alyn Sankar along with Karlina Bernadzikowski, Gabby Williams, Brandi Kellner, and Jada Boyd won their relay races and propelled the girls to their first ever Patrick Invite Victory.over Mount de Sales and North Harford.  The 4x100 team also broke the meet record with a time of 52.1 seconds. Also, a 24 point sweep of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in female pole vault is the first time ever at the Patrick and for the Kenwood vault team of Shaneara Terry, Tiffany Kight, and Karlina Bernadzikowski.

Shaneara Terry-3rd in 100, 1st in pole vault (meet record), 3rd in high jump

Tiffany Kight-2nd in pole vault

Karlina Bernadzikowski-3rd in pole vault

Alyn Sankar-1st in long jump (meet record), 1st in triple jump (meet record)

Brianna Best- 2nd in long jump

Jaleel Feggins-2nd in 100, 2nd in 200

Keith Moody-1st in 200, 1st in 400

Lorenzo Thompson-2nd in long jump, 2nd in high jump

Andrew Powis-3rd in pole vault

Monique Brittingham-3rd in 100 hurdles, 3rd in 300 hurdles
