Kenwood Track Results against Perry Hall

Kenwood's track team performs well at Perry Hall.

On Tuesday, the boys and girls track team competed against Loch Raven, Overlea, Chesapeake, Towson, and Perry Hall.  The Varsity Boys and Girls teams won the meet while the JV Boys and Girls teams came in second place.  The JV Boys lost to Perry Hall while the JV Girls lost to Towson.  Alyn Sankar also broke a new school record in triple jump with a mark of 34-01.50 feet.  The team will next run at the Patrick Invite hosted at Kenwood High School.  Highlights included the following:

Monique Brittingham-1st place 100 hurdles, 2nd 300 hurdles

Ja'Det Edmundson-3rd place 100 Hurdles, 3rd 300 hurdles

Shaneara Terry-1st place pole vault (9-00 tied school record), 1st in high jump, 2nd 100 meter dash

Yuling Lok-2nd in discus

Rachel Bauer-1st in 1600, 1st 3200

Michael Jeter-1st in shot, 1st in Discus

Andrew Powis-2nd in pole vault

Jaleel Feggins-2nd in 100, 2nd in 200

Keith Moody-1st in 400, 3rd in 200,

Hasib Yunusi-3rd in 1600

Ronald Chambers-3rd in 3200

Lorenzo Thompson-2nd in long jump,

A'donta Wallace-3rd in long jump
