County Police Promote Four at Essex Precinct

The officers were among 31 who recently received new ranks following a ceremony at CCBC Dundalk.

 

Four officers stationed at the Essex Precinct were among those that were promoted to new ranks at a recent ceremony at CCBC Dundalk.

In all, 31 Baltimore County police officers were promoted in an event that was attended by County Executive Kevin Kamenetz among others. According to a news release, Police Chief James W. Johnson presented the certificates to the newly promoted officers.

Baltimore County Police Chaplain, the Rev. Paul Palazzi, gave the invocation and delivered the benediction while Clerk of the Circuit Court Julie Ensor administered the oath of office, the release continued.

Those promoted from the Essex Precinct were:

  • William Watts was promoted from sergeant to lieutenant.
  • Jeffrey Hartman was promoted from corporal to sergeant.
  • Gladys Brown was promoted from officer to corporal.
  • Michael Trout was promoted from officer to corporal.
