Maryland Tax Free Week Is Back At White Marsh Mall!

It's the best week of the year for shoppers and certainly one of my favorites. Maryland Tax Free Week starts tomorrow, August 12 and runs until next Saturday, August 18.

It’s the best week of the year for shoppers and certainly one of my favorites. Maryland Tax Free Week starts tomorrow, August 12 and runs until next Saturday, August 18. That means you pay ZERO state tax on all clothing and footwear items under $100! What a great way to save on fall fashions, summer closeouts and of course, back to school clothes for the kids.

In addition to great savings at the register, we will be giving you another great opportunity to save! Starting at noon on Sunday, the first 500 shoppers to visit Center Court will receive a special Scratch-Off Game Card* with a chance to win the Grand Prize of a $250 Shop Etc. gift card. Other prizes include $100, $50 and $10 Shop Etc. mall gift cards. While you’re here be sure to check out the updated food court, neweateries and of course, great deals from White Marsh Mall retailers.

Please do keep in mind there are some exceptions to Maryland Tax Free Week.  Accessory items, which are NOT exempt from Maryland sales tax during the tax-free week, include jewelry, watches, watchbands, handbags, handkerchiefs, umbrellas, scarves, ties, headbands, and belt buckles.
