Fall Fashions are In at White Marsh Mall!

Not long ago, we were all wondering when the 100+ temps would go away and more pleasant weather would arrive. Don’t look now, but fall is officially knocking on the door.  With football season in full swing and kids getting back into the back to school routine it sure feels like summer is officially over.  Before you know it, the leaves will be changing and the shorts and sandals will officially be stowed away for the next 8 months!

Although I am sad to see lazy summer days filled with endless sunlight slowly slip away, changes in seasons also mean that we get to indulge in some great new fashion trends. And, fall just so happens to be my favorite fashion season of the year. Bring on the boots, dark nail polish and rich hues of falls.

Just to give you a few ideas of what’s in style this season, animal prints, animal skin, faux fur and leather are coming back.  You’ll also find that the super-bright colors of spring and summer have been toned back a little to more subdued tones.  There’s still plenty of color to be found (tangerine tango is still hot), but the volume has been turned down a little bit. You’ll also find a range of earth tones on display like tan, olive and khaki.

On the accessory and jewelry front, look for lot’s of gold and glitter. I even saw a pair of sequin Uggs in a magazine recently! Hats and scarves are going to be big as well and a new trend in military style women’s coats is coming on strong.
