Celebrate Schools At White Marsh Mall!

White Marsh Mall is always thrilled to help our local community and it brings us even more excitement when we can help out our local schools. But we can’t do it alone- we need your help. And helping is simple; the first step is simply browsing the web.

The first order of business is to head to our Facebook page and browse the list of current school projects that are in need of funding through DonorsChoose.org. Now, it is time to choose a project that moves you. Math, science, art, music, social studies, reading- there are plenty of projects to choose from and they’re all worthy of your attention. The money you donate goes directly to the teacher and classroom that needs your help. It could be used for a specific lesson, project or even new equipment and supplies! 

As a mall, we’ve partnered with DonorsChoose.org to help shine the spotlight on the importance of a quality education and assist our local schools and teachers with needed supplies and funding.  You may have seen the signs in the mall for our Celebrate Schools philanthropic initiative. This partnership with DonorsChoose.org is just one part of the initiative.

To help our local schools event further, we’ve invited students from local elementary, middle and high schools to come in and share their incredible talent with the public. On October 13 and 14, students and teachers from Joppa View Elementary and Carney Elementary School as well as dozens of kids from the Perry Hall Rec Council will be here at the mall showing off their amazing talents and trying to raise necessary funds for their classes, clubs, schools and teams.
