Journey to CCBC this July for a myriad of classes and special events

CCBC offers a myriad of classes, programs and special events during July. Plan to take advantage of these free or family-friendly priced events right in your own backyard.

CCBC offers a July filled with learning and entertainment this summer.  Take a course for credit or fun during Summer Session II beginning July 9 (5-week) and July 16 (6- week) classes.  Our popular Summer Learning Adventures Camps get into full swing during July. If theatre is your thing, you will absolutely love Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre's 40th Anniversary season.  Or if you are a history buff or just someone who loved the recent 'Sailabration,' you are sure to enjoy Chautauqua 2012 at CCBC Catonsville celebrating Maryland’s Role in the War of 1812.

CCBC and the Maryland Humanities Council present Chautauqua 2012- Inspiration, Unity, Preparedness, Courage: Maryland and the War of 1812, celebrating the bicentennial of America's second war of independence, an important turning point in Maryland's history.

Saturday, July 7 - Mary Pickersgill, Baltimore flag maker who stitched the Star Spangled Banner Flag that flew over Ft. McHenry during the Battle of Baltimore Sunday, July 8 - British Major General Robert Ross
