Drawing Duels Event, Dec. 3, 5-7 p.m.; ADiM (Art, Design and Interactive Media) Club Reception, Dec. 14, 6-8 p.m.  Free. No tickets required.

STAR PARTIES AT THE CCBC DUNDALK OBSERVATORY
Dec. 7, 7-9 p.m., CCBC Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road

MUSIC FORUM AT CCBC ESSEX – CCBC CHAMBER SINGERS

This select choral ensemble, under the direction of CCBC faculty member Monica Otal, will present diverse music of the holiday season, including excerpts from Saint-Saens Christmas Oratorio.  Free. No tickets required.

BENJAMIN BANNEKER PLANETARIUM SHOW – “CHRISTMAS STORY”
Dec. 8, 10 a.m., D Building, D-003, CCBC Catonsville, 800 S. Rolling Road
The Christmas Story displays the sky from Bethlehem around the time of Jesus’ birth and presents possibilities about what the astronomical events would have been a Christmas star. Free.  No tickets/reservations required.

CHILDREN’S PLAYHOUSE OF MARYLAND – DISNEY’S “THE LITTLE MERMAID JR”

A beautiful young mermaid longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above, but she must defy her father, deal with an evil sea witch and convince a prince that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.  Tickets:  All seats $10 from the CCBC Box Office 443-840-ARTS (2787) or prior to the show.

MUSIC AT CCBC - POWERHOUSE:  BIG BAND JAZZ CONCERT

Under the direction of CCBC faculty member Aston Fletcher, Powerhouse Jazz Ensemble will perform jazz standards, big ban and holiday favorites.  Free. No tickets or reservations required.
