Reznick Group to Host 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament

On June 6, 2012, Reznick Group will hold its 11th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, benefiting The Anderson Children Education Fund. The top 20 accounting firm invites all golfers to participate in the tournament, which includes contests for “longest drive” and “closest to the pin,” as well as raffle prizes, a catered dinner and an awards ceremony for participants and non-golfers.

The annual golf tournament began over 10 years ago to support a Reznick Group employee’s son who was diagnosed with a rare blood disease. Following with that tradition,proceeds from this year’s tournament will benefit a private educational fund established for former Reznick Group employee Gary Anderson's children. Gary passed away in July 2011 after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.

Gary spent 13 years of his professional career with Reznick Group and was a beloved employee with a passion for the game of golf, which he shared with his children, David and Lauren. All proceeds from the golf tournament will help defray some of the financial burden Gary’s wife and family face with two children currently pursuing college degrees.
