Annual Hawthorne Bein' Green/Clean Stream Clean-up

The community of Hawthorne, located on Middle River, in partnership with Project Clean Stream, conserving the water resources of the Gunpowder Watershed and the Chesapeake Bay, is holding its annual  “Bein’ Green Saturday” cleanup of the community’s two waterfront parks and the Cow Pen Creek Watershed.   Anyone interested in joining our volunteers from The Lockheed Martin Corporation, GE Aviation, Armstrong and Associates, Freestate ChalleNGe Academy, High School Students in need of credit hours and the Hawthorne should contact 410-686-9270.
