Planes and Aviation Museum Tours

If your kids have seen the new Disney movie starring airplanes and they want to see the real thing, a visit to the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum will provide you and your children an up close experience with airplanes. The Museum's "cast" of airplanes on the Museum's outdoor flightline include Marty Mainliner, Slufffy, Thunderchief, Thunderflash, the Phantom and others. Museum Docents will share with visitors the stories of these aircraft, three of the airplanes having been built in Middle River by the Glenn L. Martin Company. The indoor exhibits include models of airplanes from 1910 through the space rockets. Public visiting hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 11am to 3pm. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children. Parking is free. www.mdairmuseum.org 410-682-6122
