2012 Ballestone-Stansbury House's 35th Annual Holly Tour

Ballestone is celebrating their 35th Annual HollyTour. Visitors will see how the house may have been decorated for theholidays. Special Exhibits include: period holiday decorations throughout the house and "household elegancies" as well as design influences in 19th century decorative and applied arts. After the tour, visitors are invited to the kitchen where theywill be served hot cider and hand baked cookies. The Civil War re-enactors will have a camp set up and will beportraying the soldiers life while garrisoned at Federal Headquarters close tothe holidays. The house will be open for tours on Dec. 1-2 & 8-9, from 1to 8 p.m. There will also be musical entertainment. Admission donation: $4 per person and $1 forchildren under 12. The holly shop offers etched glass ornaments, handmade gifts,and much more for any last minute shopping.
