Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Baltimore County

Snow, sleet and freezing rain expected overnight.

A winter storm warning for freezing rain is in effect for the Essex/Middle River area until noon on Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Snow, sleet and freezing rain are expected to have the most impact. Expect an inch or less of snow and sleet accumulation. The mix of snow and sleet are expected to change to freezing rain by 2 a.m. and continue through the morning rush hour commute.

Temperatures will be in the mid- to upper-20s early Tuesday morning and rise to the low 30s by mid-morning before reaching the upper 30s in the afternoon.
