Tornado Watch in Effect Until 2 a.m.

The National Weather Service warns of damaging winds and large hail.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch over Baltimore County until 2 a.m. Thursday.

The impending storm could bring damaging winds and large hail over several Maryland counties. A late-night cold front could increase the potential for strong wind gusts, the NWS reported.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will likely continue over the Essex-Middle River area into Thursday evening, as temperatures linger in the mid-60s and 70s.
