Dec. 5-9: Expect I-95, Route 43 Closures

Crews are expected to work on the I-95 Express Toll LaneSM project, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority

Weather permitting, motorists may expect closures and detours along Route 43 and Interstate 95 so crews can work on the I-95 Express Toll LaneSM project, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

According to a news release, from 10 p.m. Dec. 5 to 5 a.m. Dec. 6 the ramp from northbound I-95 to eastbound Route 43 (Exit 67A, White Marsh Boulevard) may be closed. The detour will direct motorists to westbound MD 43 (Exit 67B), to southbound I-95, to eastbound MD 43.

Then, from 10 p.m. Dec. 7 to 5 a.m. Dec. 8, the ramp from westbound Route 43 to northbound I-95 may be closed. The detour will direct motorists to southbound I-95, to eastbound MD 43, to northbound I-95, acccording to the release.

Additional lane closures may be in effect on I-95 inear Route 43 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 5-9 and from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the following morning Dec. 5-8. Traffic drags may take place periodically for crews to move equipment.
