Each week, we'll give you the info on the five best family activities or events for the week.

  • Where/When: Perry Hall Library, 7 p.m. on Thursday
  • Why Go: The Perry Hall Library offers Pajama Story Time, an evening story time for children ages 2 to 5 (with an adult). Children can wear their pajamas and enjoy songs and stories.
  • Pricing: Free

  •  Where/When: Cromwell Valley Park, 7:30 – 9 p.m. on Saturday
  • Why Go: A night hike at Cromwell Valley Park will teach participants the who, what, when, where and why of frog calls and their spring reproductions. For ages 6 years of age and up.
  • Pricing: Reservations are required. $2 for members and $4 for non-members.

3. Open Bounce Play Time

  • Where/When: Bounce Party N’ Play in White Marsh from 6 - 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15
  • Why Go: Meet other parents while promoting social development and physical fitness for children ages 14 and under
  • Pricing: $6 per child; free for children under 18 months with a paying sibling ($5 otherwise); accompanying adults are free

4. Snakes & Clovers

  • Where/When: Oregon Ridge Nature Center from 2 - 4 p.m. on Saturday
  • Why Go: Find St. Patrick’s Day icons in the forest and make a craft.
  • Price: General admission is $3. Members pay $2.

 5. Walters Art Museum Drop-In Art Activities: All that Glitters…

  • Where/When: Walters Art Museum from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. every day through March 31.
  • Why Go: In March, the Walters Art Museum will showcase a Treasures of Heaven exhibition. Children and families can create ornate mementos and keepsakes every weekend.
  • Price: Free
