Deals During Ravens Game at Essex-Area Bars, Restaurants

The Ravens take on the Denver Broncos Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

All this rooting can make a fan hungry.

The Baltimore Ravens went airborne (complete with a firehose salute as the team plane left) Friday afternoon en route to a 4:30 p.m. Saturday showdown with Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. 

Many area bars and restaurants are offering gameday specials or something more for the NFL playoffs, which continue with divisonal matchups on Sunday. We checked with several area bars and restaurants, but if there's a deal you don't see here, share it in the comments.

Carson's Creekside will offer happy hour prices with $2 domestic bottles and drafts. The restaurant will offer prizes and giveaways, with a free buffet at halftime.

Fatties will offer a free buffet during the game's halftime.

Sunset Cove in Bowleys Quarters will have free Ravens shooters after every Baltimore touchdown. In addition, the restaurant will have $2 domestic bottled beers ($10 for a bucket), $1 oysters and a pound of steamed shrimp for $6.99, along with pit beef sandwiches.

The Williamsburg Inn on Pulaski Highway will have two-for-one drafts and rail drinks, 50 cent wings, $1 oysters and sliders and $5 potato skins or chili cheese fries. For the playoffs, the inn will be offering a "purple passion martini" for $4 all day Saturday and Sunday, according to its website.
