Essex-Middle River Schools to Host Back-to-School Nights

Essex-Middle River-area schools have scheduled Back-to-School nights and related activities to prepare students and parents for the new school year that starts Aug. 26.

The gatherings will provide parents with opportunities to meet school faculty and staff; learn about academic expectations and classroom curricula; and receive information on school rules and upcoming events, according to a statement from Baltimore County Public Schools.

Listed below is the Back-to-School Night schedule for Essex-Middle River schools:

Elementary Schools:

Chase Elementary School: Back-to-School Night, Thursday, Aug. 29, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Deep Creek Elementary School: First Day Celebration, Monday, Aug. 26, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.

Essex Elementary School: Back-to-School Night, Tuesday, Aug. 27, at 6 p.m.; Pre-K Family Workshop, Friday, Aug. 30, appointments assigned

Glenmar Elementary School: Back-to-School Night, Thursday, Aug. 22, from 5 to 7 p.m.
