WWII Martin Company History Comes to Life

As it celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Glenn L. Martin Company, the Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum, located at Martin State Airport in eastern Baltimore County is bringing the World War II Martin Company stories to life as actors will share 1940's work experience with visitors  in the Museum's new WWII exhibit "They Answered the Call" on June Saturdays. Thanks to the support of the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences, actors will engage visitors with stories of aircraft manufacturing, rationing, housing challenges, and the employees' support of the war effort.  Visit the Museum to discover how 53,000 employees working three different shifts for 7 days a week contributed to bringing World War II to an end.
