2. If you don’t hit the lottery you might want a new job. The Baltimore County Division of Workforce Development is bringing its mobile career center to the public library in Lansdowne next month.

3. Work continues at the multi-million residential and retail project known as Metro Centre at Owings Mills. Developer David S. Brown Enterprises announced that planned expansions of the project are underway after liquor licenses were approved for three as yet unnamed restaurants that are slated for the site.

4. Rhonda Blankenship, the 2013 Maryland Teacher of the year (and 1995 Towson University grad) will throw out the first pitch at Sunday’s Orioles-Seattle Mariners baseball game.
