Photo of the Day: Downy Woodpecker Dines in Essex
Essex Patch presents its Photo of the Day.
Essex resident Lynn Fisher, who lives on the water, enjoys the song birds, shore birds and other creatures that routinely find their way to her property.
Today's Photo of the Day features a downy woodpecker taking advantage of the buffet provided by Fisher by way of a suet feeder in her backyard.
"These are in constant sight at this feeder," she wrote in an email to Patch.
