Baltimore County is supposed to get more snow on Wednesday, and the morning commute may be slippery.

The National Weather Service placed Baltimore County and several surrounding jurisdictions under a winter weather advisory from 1 a.m. to noon Wednesday.

A winter weather advisory means snow will cause travel difficulties like snow-covered roads and limited visibilities. Untreated roads may be slick, the weather service said.

The snow is expected to start in Baltimore County around 3 a.m., and highway crews are prepared to monitor and treat roads as necessary, according to the Baltimore County Snowfighter page.

One to three inches of snow may accumulate, according to the National Weather Service.

Wednesday's high is between 32 and 34 degrees, with temperatures dropping at night to about 15 degrees, according to the forecast.

Other counties under the winter weather advisory include Anne Arundel, Calvert, Carroll, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, Prince George's and St. Mary's.
