What is your outlook for your long-term future?

I am just using my time in high school to learn how to be successful in whatever I decide to do and achieve in life. Kenwood has helped lay the foundation for me to do well throughout my life, whether it be in high school, college or when I get married down the road.

How has Kenwood prepared you for the future?

The classes I have taken and the teachers in those classes have taught me valuable life skills such has how to plan, study and prepare for projects and tests.

Where do you see yourself after college?

I would love to be working with children. I’ve thought about eventually becoming an elementary school physical education teacher. That would allow me to work with young kids while also staying actively involved in sports, which have been a big part of my life. After taking childhood development classes in school, it made me realize that working with kids is what I wanted to do with my life.

You are the youngest sibling in your family by several years. What has that experience been like?

I like being the youngest child. I’ve had the chance to learn so much from my brother and sister. Ryan taught me so much about playing soccer and softball. I wouldn’t have become the player I am today without his help.

Who are the greatest inspirations in your life?

I would have to say my mom and dad without a doubt.  They have done everything for me from getting me what I need in life to taking me to and from practices. They are so amazing and I can’t thank them enough.
