I was very disappointed this year we arrived at 5:30 sat in the truck with the kids until 6:30 and didnt see a single boat, where was everyone this year and why were there only 2 boats, not that I saw them but the people parked in the car behind us phoned carsons creekside and that is what they said. I got my children all excited for nothing.

Very disappointing. Made 630 reservations at sunset cove. Boats were supposed to pass at 715. The last few boats past as we were being seated. They were off by over an hour.

Also very disappointed. Made plans with friends to view from our boat. Bought drinks and food to serve onboard. Got there at 6:20 for a planned Parade pass at 7:45. Just as we arrived, saw the LAST boat leaving the creek. The event could be terrific, but it apparently needs better handling, control and communication. This may have ruined it for next year.

Maybe the windy, cold conditions could have hindered the parade.

It started around 5:15 in Wilson Point and all the boats passed back out of the cove by 5:40. There were about 40 vessels.
