No injuries were reported, although a section of roads around the office was blocked off by county police and fire units, said Baltimore County police spokeswoman Louise Rogers-Feher said.

Rogers-Feher said while she understands the workers believed they were keeping others around them safe, the police stress people should not attempt to move a potential explosive by themselves.

"If you see a suspicious package, leave it alone, walk away and call 911," Rogers-Feher said.
