New York Man Arrested in Middle River Murder

Police allege that Quincy Jackson shot Nathan Bowles for having a romantic relationship with Jackson's wife.

A 42-year-old man was arrested in New York pending extradition to Maryland to face first-degree murder charges for the January killing of a Middle River man.

Quincy Jackson, 42, of the 900 block of Washington Ave. in Brooklyn, NY, has been accused of shooting and killing Nathan Bowles, 41.

According to a news release from the Baltimore County Police Department, officers responded at 10:03 a.m..

Upon arriving at the location, they discovered Bowles lying on the second floor landing of the apartment building. He had been shot multiple times and his death was later ruled a homicide by the medical examiner. The firearm was recovered at the scene. 

Detectives located witnesses who provided information about the homicide, and additional information was received through the Metro Crime Stoppers program.

The detectives determined that the victim had been involved in a romantic relationship with a woman from Brooklyn, NY, and that her husband had previously threatened to kill the victim if he did not end the relationship. Jackson has been detained in New York since Feb. 25.
