Former CCBC Essex Lax Star Takes Over Catonsville Program

Bill Zopp served as assistant for the Knights and turned Baltimore Lutheran into an MIAA C power.

For the past three years, Zopp, who lives in White Marsh, presided over a Baltimore Lutheran School squad that compiled a 44-7 record and captured three MIAA C Conference championships. Zopp’s 2011 team went 16-0.

Prior to his accomplishments on the high school level, Zopp served as an assistant coach at CCBC Essex from 2001 through 2007—teams that went to six National Junior College Athletic Association championships over that time period and won it all in 2004.
