Essex-Middle River Crime: Guns, Coins Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department. In cases where a criminal charge is noted, the information provided does not indicate a conviction.

 

From the Baltimore County Police Department:

Southeastern Terrace, 200 block. Between 4 p.m., Sept. 6 and 6 p.m., Sept. 22. A chrome- and nickel-plated Raven .25-caliber handgun containing seven live rounds, a black Remington 12-gauge shotgun, jewelry and coins were taken from a home. A burglar entered a home by removing the air conditioning unit from a second floor bedroom window and ransacked the home. 

Waterview Way, 1200 block. Between 2:30 and 6:30 a.m., Sept. 23. A mailbox post was ripped and broken and the mailbox and post were thrown into a pond across the street.

Wilson Point Road, 800 block. 8:26 p.m., Sept. 23. A man was robbed of a pair of Nike shoes he was wearing, and $40 cash in his pants pocket. He was pushed and tackled to the ground by two men.

Middle River Road and Midego Drive. 2:45 a.m., Sept. 23.  A wallet with cash, a total value of $105, was stolen from a man held at gunpoint. Two men approached a man from behind. One placed a handgun to his back, while the other went through his pockets.

Vincent Avenue, unit block. 10:06 p.m., Sept. 22. Two men were seen trying to enter through the rear of a vacant home. They were unsuccessful.

Tace Drive, 1100 block. 9:45 p.m., Sept. 21. Two men approached a Pizza Boli's delivery driver after he made his delivery. One pulled a knife on him and demanded money. The driver gave them $65 and the men fled.

Cape May Road, 1700 block. Between 8 a.m., Sept. 13 and 8 p.m., Sept. 19. Jewelry and coins were stolen from a home. The jewelry was later discovered at a pawn shop.

Walnut Grove Road, 900 block. Between 2:30 and 3 p.m., Sept. 21. A house phone, Nintendo Wii controllers and Wii games, carrying a total value of $520, were stolen. Police believe the burglar entered through an unlocked front window.

Middleborough Road and Foxchase Lane. 9:50 p.m., Sept. 21. A juvenile was struck in the back of the head with a handgun. A robber took $19.

Mansfield Road, 600 block. 9:50 p.m., Sept. 21. A resident awoke to find a man in the living room with a flashlight. The man fled through a basement door. Nothing was taken.
